When your four- (or more) legged friend is firmly one of the family, why have them miss out on being captured in a fun way? A PawTraits photo session takes place in short bursts to capture your 'true' pet - whatever their character or behaviour!
Fun photo sessions at home
A PawTraits session can take place at home, in the garden, during a walk or wherever your pet is happiest so that we can capture their personality. If your pet is stress-free, that shows through in your images; so it's important that they are relaxed and comfortable. Photo sessions usually take approximately an hour but can take longer if necessary, working to your pet's agenda.
Calm and comfortable photography
You may wish to have available a selection of favourite toys. These can give your pet something to focus on which then maximises the chances of getting a selection of interesting and varied images for you to choose from. It can also help in calming your pet. Experience has shown that having an ample supply of treats on hand also helps the photo session go smoothly!
If there's something in particular that you would like photographing, such as a certain way that your pet sits or lays or even a trick they perform, let me know so that we can see whether we can capture that moment.
Family centred relaxed images
The old adage about working with children or animals definitely need not apply. If you would like to have your children and yourselves involved, that can be accommodated too. The human element in your images reinforces the idea of your pet most certainly being one of the family.
